Updatica Space ist eine self-hosted Webanwendung für PC-Systemintegratoren. Sie pflegen eine Liste Ihrer Mainboards; die drei Werkzeuge arbeiten alle darauf.

Updatica Space is a self-hosted web application for PC system integrators. You maintain one list of your motherboards; all three tools work from it.

Alle drei lesen ausschließlich die öffentlichen Support-Seiten der Hersteller: dieselben Seiten, die Ihre Techniker sonst von Hand durchklicken.

All three read nothing but the vendors' own public support pages: the same pages your technicians would otherwise click through by hand.

1. ZIP entpackenUnzip the package
2. UpdaticaSpace.exe
3. http://localhost:5000

Danach http://localhost:5000 öffnen. Beim ersten Login setzen Sie ein eigenes Passwort. Die vollständige Anleitung liegt dem Paket bei (START-HERE.txt).

Then open http://localhost:5000. On first login you set your own password. The full guide ships with the package (START-HERE.txt).

Updatica USB Sync

Ein optionales Companion-Tool für den Montage-PC. Es spiegelt die BIOS-Sammlung auf alle angeschlossenen USB-Sticks, prüft sie gegen das Server-Manifest und meldet den Status zurück ans Dashboard (Karte „Operations"). So sehen Sie jederzeit, wann und wie erfolgreich zuletzt synchronisiert wurde.

An optional companion tool for the assembly PC. It mirrors the BIOS collection onto all connected USB sticks, verifies them against the server manifest and reports status back to the dashboard ("Operations" card). You always see when and how successfully the last sync ran.

Liest je Mainboard, welche Treiber der Hersteller aktuell veröffentlicht: Chipsatz, LAN, Audio, WLAN, Bluetooth, Storage, Grafik und USB, und stellt sie neben das, was Sie als installiert erfasst haben. Sechs Hersteller, 329 von 335 Boards einer typischen Bestandsliste.

Reads which drivers each vendor currently publishes for a board: chipset, LAN, audio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, storage, graphics and USB, and puts them next to what you have recorded as installed. Six vendors, 330 of the 335 boards in a typical inventory.

Prüfsummen und was sie bedeutenChecksums, and what they mean

Ein Treiberpaket startet einen Installer mit Administratorrechten auf jeder Maschine, die Ihr Werk verlässt. Wo der Hersteller eine SHA-256 veröffentlicht, wird jeder Download dagegen geprüft und bei Abweichung verworfen, es bleibt nichts auf der Platte liegen, was wie ein brauchbares Paket aussieht.

A driver package runs an installer with administrator rights on every machine that leaves your floor. Where the vendor publishes a SHA-256, every download is checked against it and discarded if it differs, nothing is left on disk that looks like a usable package.

Gigabyte, NZXT und Sapphire veröffentlichen für Treiber keine Prüfsumme. Diese Dateien werden trotzdem geholt, denn ein Verzicht würde auch den Realtek-Audiotreiber ausschließen, den Sie brauchen, aber sie sind im Bericht ausdrücklich als ungeprüft ausgewiesen, aufgeschlüsselt nach Hersteller. Das ist eine Tatsache über den Hersteller, kein Fehler im Lauf, und es steht dort, damit Sie es sehen statt es anzunehmen.

Gigabyte, NZXT and Sapphire publish no checksum for drivers. Those files are still fetched, because refusing them would also refuse the Realtek audio driver you need, but the report marks them as unverified, broken down per vendor. That is a fact about the vendor rather than a fault in the run, and it is stated so you can see it instead of assuming it.

Ermittelt die RGB-Steuerungssoftware der Hersteller, die auf eine Maschine gehört, lädt sie von einer freigegebenen Adresse, bildet die SHA-256 und liest die Code-Signatur aus. Das Ergebnis ist der Eintrag, den Ihr Installationswerkzeug braucht, bevor es eine solche Datei mit Administratorrechten ausführt.

Finds the vendor RGB control software a machine needs, downloads it from an approved address, hashes it and reads its code signature. The result is the entry your installation tool needs before it will run such a file with administrator rights.
